More and more processors from the wood- and furniture industry ask the suppliers / sawmills for cut to size and semi-finished products, which have undergone some treatment with respect to dimension and quality, thus delivering a better calculation basis.

The processors target is to better calculate the own rate of yield, and to optimize the costs of transport, storage, and handling. Another point of interest is the reduction of quality risks. Not until the cut to size process the real qualities of the supplied wood are shown.

Our offer for such requests is, that our clients can edge their unedged sawnwood at Euroforest on a wage-labour basis or have it cut to size. In addition, we do possess a high-performace and modern cutting line, consisting of a "Holtec" saw for stack cutting, a "Raimann" multiple blade saw, a "Weinig" planer and a "Grecon" length optimization line.

Regarding your sawnwood, it will be our pleasure to calculate cut to size to scantlings (raw or planed), friezes or unedged products. The rate of yield is best evaluated by a sample quantity of about 5-10m³, which we will then (jointly with you) cut to size, mark, cut off and sort.

- Stack cutting:

Cut off by the stack with a "Holtec-Stihl" chain saw. Billing due to number of cuts.

- Edging/cut to size to fixed widths (multiple blade saw):

Valid for board thicknesses up to about 80mm and -lenghts up to about 5,50m. The billing is due to the amount of input of the unedged sawnwood. Rates of yield up to 85% depending on the quality of the used sawnwood, and depending on the respective requirements on quality and widths.

- Planing, surfacing, moulding:

After the cut to size process, edged raw scantlings up to a maximum height of 120mm and up to a width of 230mm may surfaced or pre-planed with our "Weinig" planer "Profimat 23 EC" (5 planing heads). By this, errors become clearly visible and can be cut out afterwards. Billing due to running meters of the deployed raw scantlings.

- Cut to length:

Longfriezes according to inputted lengths. Cut off is conducted under simultaneous optimization of quality (marked errors are cut out). Billing due to amount of deployed edged raw scantlings. Rates of yield up to 90% of the deployed longfriezes depending on the respective requirements on quality and lengths.

- Stacking, bundling, resorting (scantlings/friezes):

Billing according to the amount of the deployed edged raw scantlings. We prepare your cut to size products/friezes for shipment (packaging slip, specification).
